Now why hasn't someone thought of this before? I absolutely love the new Schlage Electronic Keypad Deadbolt. It allows entrance into your home without the use of a key. (But it also comes with two keys that will work in place of a code). My husband installed ours very easily on our back door.
What's really neat about it, is that you can set several different codes to work at once. In fact, you can set up to nineteen codes if you'd like! We all have times when we'd like to be able to let someone in our home when we're not there. Maybe you would like a neighbor to be able to get in to let your dog out. Or, maybe you have a painter that you trust to come in while you aren't home. But, you also don't really want to give out your key. Well, with this lock, you can set a code for them to get in, and then erase it when the job is complete!
Plus, it's very comforting to know that you'll never be accidentally locked out of your home. You can just use the code to let yourself in. (No more digging for the key under a rock somewhere in the yard!) It's just a simple, yet ingenius idea! I'm so glad that Schlage developed it!
