This week's issue of Time Magazine is focused on us - the voters! The race to the presidency is wide open
for a change. It's a great reminder to us all that we need to get out there and vote! On the Democratic side, Obama won Iowa, and then Clinton came back to win New Hampshire. Huckabee won Iowa for the Republicans, and then McCain won New Hampshire! Who knows what will happen in Michigan and South Carolina. It all leads up to Super Tuesday, on February 5th.
My favorite candidate, Ron Paul, probably doesn't have much chance of winning, but I still plan to vote for him. When Chris and I wrote to him, asking for support on a House of Representatives bill that would give Hydrocephalus Research a bigger chunk of federal funding, he supported it right away. When we asked Senator Ann Hutchison, who I have met, and is actually from my small hometown, we just received a form letter about how she supports the NIH in general. I think he's an extremely smart, practical, and warm human being. I feel that he could lead our country in the right direction. But that's the beauty of being an American, we're all entitled to our opinions!
